Campus Safety 101: Physical Security & Crime Prevention for the Education Leader

  • Description: With campus safety incidents making news on a regular basis for both higher Ed and k-12 schools, providing for the safety and security of your community is increasingly becoming a topic of discussion amongst senior leaders, staff, and students. The campus leader often finds themselves assigned either overall or partial responsibility for their schools' campus safety program. In this session we will discuss how the elements of an effective campus safety program work as a system to protect a campus’ people and assets using real world examples to provide a framework that attendees can take back to their organizations.
