1+1=3 How Partnerships Changed the Equation in Ridgefield
Nathan McCann, Ridgefield School District
Thursday, November 4
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time
Math defies logic when two entities work together to achieve more than either can accomplish alone. Learn how the Ridgefield School District partnered with the City of Ridgefield to revitalize a former school, build a world-class recreation facility, and move a community forward. A tired school becomes the Ridgefield Administrative & Civic Center (RACC), home to district and city offices, an early learning center, community education, chamber of commerce, arts association, and coffee house. A former potato field becomes the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex (RORC), southwest Washington’s preeminent athletic facility, and home of the West Coast League’s Ridgefield Raptors.
