EDsession Program & Schedule

1+1=3 How Partnerships Changed the Equation in Ridgefield

  • Date:Thursday, November 4
  • Time:8:00 AM - 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time
  • Description: Math defies logic when two entities work together to achieve more than either can accomplish alone. Learn how the Ridgefield School District partnered with the City of Ridgefield to revitalize a former school, build a world-class recreation facility, and move a community forward. A tired school becomes the Ridgefield Administrative & Civic Center (RACC), home to district and city offices, an early learning center, community education, chamber of commerce, arts association, and coffee house. A former potato field becomes the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex (RORC), southwest Washington’s preeminent athletic facility, and home of the West Coast League’s Ridgefield Raptors.
