EDsession Program & Schedule

Challenge-Based Learning for the Now, Near and Far

  • Date:Wednesday, November 3
  • Time:8:00 AM - 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time
  • Description: In March 2021, DLR Group hosted a workshop for students in grades 5-12 to hear firsthand their concerns for returning to “bricks and mortar” after learning remotely for more than a year. While they expressed a desire to maintain the autonomy that they’ve recently experienced, they also shared uneasiness for not knowing the type of learning model they’ll return to. Jean Claude Brizard, recently appointed President and CEO of Digital Promise, will lead the panel conversation as they explore the impacts of changing expectations for instruction, technology, furniture, and design as they relate to the context of learner engagement.
