A Product and Process for All: DC’s School Modernization Program

DC’s DGS and DCPS collaborate to deliver one of the largest school modernization programs in the country. This session will dive into the planning, and community engagement process led by DCPS that ensures every building in the District is an equitable environment that celebrates each school’s unique culture. The session will also address the design and construction of the modernizations, a process led by DGS that strives to use their program as a means to promote local businesses and residents in DC while ensuring that students' needs are being met in every school. This will be presented through case studies.
