  • Description: Mounds View Public Schools breaks down the once-in-a-lifetime case study on a pre-Covid planning process that successfully navigated 2020. The community passed a $170M referendum in 2017, voicing a desire for equity and innovation in facilities district-wide in anticipation for increased student enrollment. The pandemic hit during our construction, and flexibility became top priority nation-wide. Mounds View had already planned for flexible learning models, and put them to the test upon opening. Join the discussion on how districts can find success with flexible spaces to thrive in and beyond the pandemic, and discover how necessity can lead to grand ideas.
