Mr. Alan Reising is the Business Services Administrator for the Long Beach Unified School District where he administers the District’s Maintenance, Operations, Transportation, and Warehousing programs including the District’s $2.8 billion facilities construction and modernization program. Alan has over 35 years of experience in school facilities including leadership roles in Maintenance & Operations, New Construction, Modernization, & Charter Schools. Alan began his career at the Los Angeles Unified School District where he worked for over 25 years. Prior to coming to Long Beach, Alan administered the $400M bond construction program at Glendale Unified School District. Alan is the current Vice-Chair of the Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) where he is actively working with State Legislators to address many school facilities issues including lobbying for the additional funding to address the needs of students across the state.
